Big Bull Redfish At the Charleston Jettys
Fish are Schooling on the Nearshore Wrecks and Artificial Reefs in November!!!
NOVEMBER 2013
During the month of November many species of fish move from the inshore waters to structure just offshore where lots of baitfish gather into large schools giving feeding opportunities for many predatory fish. Schools of big bull reds will school around these wrecks feeding on these bait balls. Seatrout, weakfish, bluefish, flounder, and many other bottom fish will also take advantage of this buffet! This is one off the few times of year when you can cast to huge schools of big 20 plus pound redfish on the surface with soft and hard plastic baits. It is also a perfect time to catch these fish on the fly.
Seatrout and Redfish are Schooling Inshore
3/3/13 Plenty of seatrout are biting on live and artificial baits inshore in the creeks and inlets. 2 to 12 pound reds are also schooling on the mudflats and on the waterways and inlets. Action was nonstop around the low tide using cut mullet on the bottom.
